Scott Clinic

The Scott Clinic was founded in 1986 by Dr. Robert H. Scott and Maria Corsillo. It was licensed as an Independent Health Facility in 1991. Dr. Scott was prosecuted along with Dr. Henry Morgentaler resulting in the landmark 1988 Supreme Court decision which decriminalized abortion in Canada. The Scott Clinic provides abortion services under local anesthetic in a freestanding clinic setting.
