how to use the aneros

The Aneros converts the body's own anal-sphincter muscle contractions into fuel for itself. Each "squeeze" of the anal-sphincter causes the Aneros to pivot forward, providing a direct internal massage of the prostate. When the man "relaxes" the sphincter muscle, the Aneros pivots back, pressing on the perineum for an external prostate massage. The man's body becomes in tune with this cycle of squeezing and relaxing, and he begins to experience involuntary contractions of the sphincter muscle.

Be sure to wash your Aneros before first use and after each subsequent use. We recommend a thicker water based lubricant (like Maximus, or Astroglide Gel) for use with the Aneros. Apply some lube to the Aneros and externally around the anus as well. If you want to also apply some lube internally with your fingers we recommend using latex gloves or non latex gloves both to reduce the risk of bacterial infection and for easy clean up.

Position the Aneros so that the part of the handle that’s thicker will press against the perineum when the Aneros is inserted all the way into the anus. The curve of the toy should be pointed toward you belly button. Insert the Aneros about half way in and let your body relax and get comfortable with the toy. Slowly you should feel the your body draw the rest of the Aneros into the rectum.

The Aneros is not designed for a lot of 'in-and-out' penetration. We recommend once you’ve got it in, breath and relax and see how it feels. The manufacturer suggests doing this for 10-20 minutes.

You can also do contraction exercises with your Aneros. Again the Aneros folks recommend focusing on a relaxing breath and doing 20-30 contractions of your sphincter muscle, contracting as you inhale and relaxing as you exhale.

Add in extra touch while playing with your Aneros. Play with your cock and balls, your perineum, and anywhere else that turns you on. You may find you’re quicker to orgasm the first few times you have the Aneros in because of the extra stimulation, but unless you’re trying to avoid that, go for it.

The way the Aneros is designed, when you contract your sphincter muscles the toy provides extra stimulation. Play with relaxing and tensing up and notice how that changes the feel of the Aneros and your arousal.

You can find much more detailed instructions as well as a forum to share your experience with other Aneros users all at www.Aneros.com.
