In the past, there were an extremely limited variety of non-latex condoms available out there. Specifically: Durex Avanti polyurethane condoms, which were rather like trying to be intimate with a plastic baggie (& the cost ~$15/5pk! didn't help much either) & Trojan Supra "microsheer" polyurethane condoms, which until very recently were made with Nonoxynol-9 on them (& I won't let that stuff anywhere near my girlbits!).

But now that Skyns are on the market, I don't think I'm ever going to have to look for another brand again. They're soft, flexible, stretchy... all the things one looks for in a condom, so that it'll move with your bodies & unless you're superhumanly sensitive you should barely even notice that it's there!
