Fun Factory Silicone Vibrators and Dildos

We feel a special kinship to Fun Factory as they were founded in 1996, a year before Come As You Are opened its doors. And we’ve been thrilled to see them grow as we have. Fun Factory was one of the first of the new generation of sex toy manufacturers. They believed sexuality was something to celebrate, and sex toys shouldn’t be hidden or shameful. Far from it, Fun Factory designed and produced toys that were bold, bright, and beautiful. They also began with a commitment to producing affordable but high quality sex toys that would be safe to use, and never wavered in that committment.

Located in Bremen, Germany, Fun Factory does its own manufacturing in a 2,400 square foot plant with over 80 employees. From the beginning Fun Factory worked only in silicone, insisting on a material that was hypoallergenic and wouldn’t degrade over time. They also choose fabulous colours for their products, bright blues, greens, pinks, and reds. At the time this made their products stand out on the shelves of any sex shop. It also reflects their philosophy that sex isn’t something to be hidden away, and that a sex toy can remind us that sex is a wonderful form of adult play.

One of the things we most appreciate about Fun Factory is their commitment to making toys that are better quality but still relatively affordable. They have recently moved into high end toys (which can cost upwards of $150) but their basic vibrators and dildos maintain a mid-range price, which is nice for customers who know they want quality but aren’t quite able or ready to commit to a sex toy over $100.
