Cock rings (also known as penis rings and constriction rings) function by restricting the flow of blood out from the penis and for many men they result in firmer and longer lasting erections. They also have the effect of creating a feeling of pressure that many men find very pleasurable. Most cock rings are made of rubber and leather and are worn at the base of the penis and behind the scrotum.

Two cautionary notes: Firstly, cock rings should never be worn for more than 30 minutes. Also, it is inadvisable to create make-shift cock rings which may be difficult and/or painful to remove.
