how to clean rubber dildos

Rubber dildos come in a variety of shapes, colours, and sizes.

Caring for them is simple:

• Rubber toys can be cleaned by wiping them with a wet cloth with mild soap (avoid harsh detergents) or alcohol. Be sure to wash your toy before its first use and after each subsequent use. Toys don't lubricate themselves; you may find that using a water-based lubricant heightens your pleasure with toys.
• There is currently no reliable information regarding the use of plain rubber toys and any chemical or allergic reactions. For this reason we always recommend using condoms on all penetration toys. If you also have a latex allergy please ask which silicone toys would be suitable for use.

If you're sharing your toy, or using it both vaginally and anally, put a condom on it to minimize the risk of transmitting infections. rubber can be damaged by tearing. Even a small cut will quickly turn into a large tear, so keep your toy away from sharp objects, teeth, etc. If you're using your toy in a harness, take extra care to make sure it's not forced through the opening. Oil-based lubricants should be avoided as they will damage your rubber toy.
