If you're sharing your toy, or using it both vaginally and anally, put a condom on it to minimize the risk of transmitting infections. Silicone can be damaged by tearing. Even a small cut will quickly turn into a large tear, so keep your toy away from sharp objects, teeth, etc. If you're using your toy in a harness, take extra care to make sure it's not forced through the opening. Silicone-based lubricants should be avoided as they will damage your silicone toy.
