A Practical Guide to Ethical Polyamory

There's More than one way to love more than one person.

With 50, 000 copies sold, More Than Two has shined a light on a generation's growing appetite for safe, responsible alternatives to monogamy. Partners and co-authors Franklin Veaux and Eve Rickert color their research with personal commentary wrought from lived experience, fusing instructional explanations with hard-won wisdom. Their successes and failures, heartbreakingly recollected, compose a roadmap equally invaluable to novice and veteran alike.

Polyamory has its personal and interpersonal struggles. How does trust and transparency in relationships work where one or more are actively seeking sex or romantic companionship from outside the current relationships? How do we voice feelings of insecurity and jealousy without unintentionally obstructing our partner's other relationships?

More Than Two is a manual for addressing the obstacles, philosophical and mundane, that come up in the course of imagining a life that gives you the love and companionship you need.

This books comes with a warning

Survivors of Author Franklin Veaux abuse (including co-author Eve Rickert, have asked that before buying or recommending this book, visit visit and read polyamory-metoo.com. Thankfully the sales of this book now mostly goes to Eve who owns Thorntree Press 100%, so buying this book supports her, but abuse *is* woven into the book. Read critically, and make sure this is only one of *many* diverse polyam books you are reading. Still some excellent insights in here, and reading can help people become aware of some insidious abuse patterns within the polyam community, which can also be good éducation

One of the authors abuses women

Franklin Veaux has been credibly accused, by eleven female former partners, of abusing them. One of the women is Eve Rickert, the co-author of this book. I think that is important information for female readers to have. Franklin uses his position and standing in the poly community to cover up his abusive behavior. Please be aware of that before reading his book or giving him a platform.
