 If you're not familiar with the whole world of Aneros prostate massagers, Aneros released the world’s first hands-free prostate massager back in 2002. These anatomically-configured massagers were designed specifically to work in harmony with a user’s contractions. Unlike most anal toys that are designed to be stationary (like butt plugs) or to be moved around by the user (like anal dildos), the Aneros is a toy that you move your body around by tensing and releasing the muscles around it. Over time, as strength grows and sensitivity increases, Aneros prostate massagers become more and more stimulating of the prostate. 

 When the PC muscles are squeezed, it causes the anus to tighten and pull up inward. The front tab on the Aneros acts like a fulcrum, so each contraction levers the shaft of the Aneros deeper into the prostate. When the muscles are relaxed, the massager returns to its original position. The ability to use the PC muscle gives the user the ideal control over the speed and pressure of the massage, and with a little practice you can create different sensations on your prostate.

Love it!

Though I have yet to experience the big O, this quickly became my favourite toy. Hits the right spots almost as well as the Maximus, and the range of vibrations are good for almost every mood.

Warning: it is easy to lose track of time in the pursuit of sensual pleasure and wonder what happened to the evening. Hardly the worst way to spend a few hours though. :)

I’ve been using this for just over a month. Before that, I was dedicated Njoy pure wand user, but was curious about trying something hands-free, and was intrigued by the helix’s reputation for naturally finding the right spot. It took some time to adjust to, but my body has been learning to recognize it’s shape and feel and respond nicely. Compared to the pure wand, its not better or worse but different. With the pure wand you can control its angle and force with minimal friction, to great effect, but is super heavy and cumbersome (it’s a scramble when it’s inside me and the doorbell rings) the helix is light and responsive, but much harder to control. It feels a bit long for ideal positioning (I’m 6’2”) so it does need some manual pivoting to get the most of it. It’s no instant bullseye. The climax is very different too: if the pure wand brings everything to a sharp plateau, the helix is like a long rolling hill, and I find I’m take it out right before climax, so, again, not totally hand-free. The silicone is nice, good texture while feeling hygienic and durable, plus ideal hardness. The vibration is great, I read mixed things but will say it’s an asset, not a dealmaker but something I don’t regret paying more for. Also got a great deal through CAYA so no regrets, though it will be pricey for many.
