A relationship game-changer!!

This book has honestly been a huge help in my relationship as we transition from monogamous to open. I love that they provide real life stories of different couples and groups who are all different levels of open, and share their honest stories, feelings, and advice. This Book has given us great language for communicating our feelings, Wants and needs, as well as being able to better understand and identify what kind of open relationship feels right for us. I now recommend this book to everyone I know who wants to open their relationship and I think it has honestly made all my relationships stronger!

Open Up This Book

Opening Up, along with Designer Relationships (also available through CAYA), was one of the first books I purchased to learn more about polyamory and ENM. While Designer Relationships is good as a easy, breezy primer, Opening Up offers much more. One of the things I appreciated the most about the book were the many perspectives provided on the different relationship styles discussed, from the people in those relationships. Tristan Taormino's guidance throughout is consistently ethical, open-minded, practical, and emphasizes humanity and consent. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in opening up whatever form of relationship you are in, and listen to her podcast Sex Out Loud for more.
