1. How discreet is your packaging?

We make every endeavour to keep your information private and confidential! We ship all orders in plain cardboard boxes or opaque envelopes. Our company name and return address do not appear anywhere on the exterior of the parcel. Further, when we ship in envelopes, we wrap your items in kraft paper for extra security.

If you are ordering from the USA, we are required to declare each item in your order for customs purposes, but we keep the descriptions vague to protect your privacy.

2. When I place an order, what company name appears on my credit card statement?

When you pay via Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, our company name will appear as "CAYA Co-operative Ltd" (not Come As You Are).

3. I have a nosey roommate/parents/neighbour, can you deliver to my post office?

Yes! We can deliver to any post office in Canada. When you place you order, enter your billing and shipping information as usual, and let us know in the "notes" field which post office you'd like us to have your order shipped to.

If you do a lot of online shopping, definitely consider signing up for Canada Post's FlexDelivery program - it is free, easy to use, and helps protect your privacy online.

4. Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship within Canada and to the USA.

5. My vibrator/dildo/sex toy broke. Is it under warranty? What do I do?

Yes! We love and believe in all of the amazing products we stock at Come As You Are. We offer an in-house warranty on all items. If you're having any issue with a product you've purchased from us, send us an email or get in touch and we'll take care of it for you.

6. Can I return the sex toy/book/DVD I just purchased from you?

For health and safety reasons, we're unable to accept returns on non-defective sex toys. All books and DVDs can be returned if they're in "new" condition. If you'd like to return a book or DVD, send us an email or get in touch and we'll take care of it for you. All of our products are covered by our in-house warranty, so if there's something wrong with the product you received, please do let us know.

7. My binder doesn't fit. What do I do?

You're welcome to return any binder in "new" condition with the original packaging. If you're binder isn't fitting or you're not happy with the style, send us an email or get in touch and we'll send along instructions on how to return your binder.

8. How long will it take to receive my order?

We ship all orders within one business day from our warehouse in Ontario, Canada using Canada Post Expedited Shipping. We do not use dropshippers or third-party warehouses to ensure your order is shipped to you in good time. If you're located in or near a major centre in Ontario or Quebec, your order will usually arrive within a business day. Locations outside of Ontario and Quebec will take between two and four days to arrive (add an extra day if you live on an island, or an extra few days if you live in the north). We also offer Canada Post Priority shipping and UPS shipping if you need rush shipping.

If you're located in the USA, shipping takes between one and six days. If customs processing at the border is particularly busy, do allow for a couple of days for your order to clear customs.

10. What is a co-op? Do I have to have a membership to order from Come As You Are Co-operative?

Unlike consumer co-operatives like MEC , you do not need to join our co-op to shop with us!

There are many different kinds of co-operatives: consumer co-ops, housing co-ops, multi-stakeholder co-ops, and worker co-ops. We're a worker-owned co-ops which means we're democratically run and that the people who work here are equal owners of the company. 11. How do I clean my new toy?

We find that most so-called "sex toy cleaners" contain ingredients that are harmful or likely to cause skin irritation for most folks. As such, we recommend using a neutral unscented soap that you're already using for your most sensitive parts. Most sex toys cannot be sterilized (at least not without an autoclave!), so if you're sharing your toys widely, we recommend using condoms or other barriers to keep your toys clean.
