I got this for my girlfriend, whom I'd once described as being like a hummingbird, to her delight. She got teary-eyed when she saw it, and proceeded to show it off on all the soc media she's on. What I hadn't realized is that what I'd characterized as being hummingbird-like had for all her life been described in much more negative terms (she is attention-different/ADHD, and is rarely completely still); this affirmation of it as something positive, simultaneously with the affirmation of her lesbianism, made her feel Seen (in the good way) in a way she never really had before.
As well as these very individual positives, it's an excellent quality pin, just the right size to pin to whatever one likes to put one's pins on.
