Many people have turned to “binding tape” and “tucking tape” as cost effective ways of binding and tucking. We advise caution when applying adhesives and tape to the body as overuse and unsafe removal techniques can easily result in abrasions and damage to the skin. However, when used and removed according to the manufacturers’ instructions, these tapes can be a great option for anyone looking for an alternative binders and gaffs.

Made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, chest binding tape is totally waterproof and sweat-proof to make it ideal for all-day wear, swimming and more! The acrylic-based adhesive on the sticky side is advertised as "hypoallergenic", but the makers advise doing a simple 24h spot test before applying larger sections of the tape.

This binding tape measures 198" long by 4" high and is great for folks with bigger chests. Trans tape can be used for binding or tucking and users should take care to cover nipples/urethral opening before applying the tape. Tape should only be removed once saturated with oil to prevent abrasion.

Great standard binding tape

This is the most inexpensive binding tape I've been able to find in Canada!

Trans Tape

They dropped the prices. The tapes used to come with nipple guards and sold for a greater price. My skin is happy with the tapes (from before/now).

Life changing!

Great Tape!

I bought the binding tape recently and couldn't be happier with it! It binds very well and my sensitive skin didn't react to the adhesive.

Gentler than name-brand

I've had allergic reactions to the US name-brand stuff even after a few hours of keeping it on. (I have eczema that can get pretty severe in certain situations)

I don't keep tape on for longer than a whole day out anymore in general, but this tape is gentle enough that I can still tape for multiple days in a row. Just make sure you use plenty of coconut oil when removing nightly (paste form works best for me, personally), and make sure ALL of the adhesive comes off. (It also comes off easier with the oil than the name-brand, which works great for my lifestyle)

TransTape is amazing!

I'm so glad Come As You Are carries this tape, as I was having to order it from the TransTape company in the US before, and shipping cost basically the same amount as the tape itself! Crazy! They had my shade in stock, and the medium size is great for me (I have like a 34B chest and use two pieces of medium tape, for reference). There's a bit of a learning curve with the tape application/removal, but ever since I figured it out I've hardly touched my binder! I tape for 5-6 days at a time and it's SO GREAT, especially for summer when it's hot and harder to breathe. I can swim, shower, sleep---everything with the tape on, and it's so freeing!

Love trans tape

This is such a helpful alternative for when binding hurts too much

works well. bit of a quality control(?) issue in regard to the stretchiness of some rolls. I've had some rolls where the tape is very stretchy, and others where it is less. I prefer when it is less stretchy because I feel like it works better for binding. I haven't noticed a correlation between this and the colour of the tape.
