Many people have turned to “trans tape” and “tucking tape” as cost effective ways of binding and tucking. We advise caution when applying adhesives and tape to the body as overuse and unsafe removal techniques can easily result in abrasions and damage to the skin. However, when used and removed according to the manufacturers’ instructions, these tapes can be a great option for anyone looking for an alternative binders and gaffs.
Made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, chest binding tape is totally waterproof and sweat-proof to make it ideal for all-day wear, swimming and more! The acrylic-based adhesive on the sticky side is advertised as "hypoallergenic", but the makers advise doing a simple 24h spot test before applying larger sections of the tape.
This binding tape measures 198" long by 4" high and is great for folks with bigger chests. Trans tape can be used for binding or tucking and users should take care to cover nipples/urethral opening before applying the tape. Tape should only be removed once saturated with oil to prevent abrasion.

I bought the binding tape recently and couldn't be happier with it! It binds very well and my sensitive skin didn't react to the adhesive.
I've had allergic reactions to the US name-brand stuff even after a few hours of keeping it on. (I have eczema that can get pretty severe in certain situations)
I don't keep tape on for longer than a whole day out anymore in general, but this tape is gentle enough that I can still tape for multiple days in a row. Just make sure you use plenty of coconut oil when removing nightly (paste form works best for me, personally), and make sure ALL of the adhesive comes off. (It also comes off easier with the oil than the name-brand, which works great for my lifestyle)
I'm so glad Come As You Are carries this tape, as I was having to order it from the TransTape company in the US before, and shipping cost basically the same amount as the tape itself! Crazy! They had my shade in stock, and the medium size is great for me (I have like a 34B chest and use two pieces of medium tape, for reference). There's a bit of a learning curve with the tape application/removal, but ever since I figured it out I've hardly touched my binder! I tape for 5-6 days at a time and it's SO GREAT, especially for summer when it's hot and harder to breathe. I can swim, shower, sleep---everything with the tape on, and it's so freeing!
This is such a helpful alternative for when binding hurts too much
this tape is a great alternative to the name brand - as other reviews have mentioned it's a bit less sticky, but it still lasted me multiple days after I figured out to hold it down pretty firmly while applying. it wasn't itchy until about day four or five for me and it is super soft to the touch! definitely recommend especially if you already buy from this place on a regular basis because its easy to add to any other order. I don't have a very large chest so the size works great for me, but someone with more than a C-cup might find it a little small for binding, I think? depends on how you use it!
Love this tape for the price point, width, colour, and how it doesn’t irritate my sensitive, reactive skin. However, it isn’t very durable and lasts less than 12 hour on me - a shorter wear time than other binding tapes. But for the price and saving my easily irritated skin, I’ll be returning to this tape.
