What's the deal with strapless strap-ons anyway?

Hi Sexy Nerds -

My best friend (and wife) and I have been "pegging" for years now (thank you, Tristan Taormino!) and we've been thinking about switching over from a regular dildo-and-harness to a more of a strapless strap-on double dildo. I think we both find the harness stuff to be a bit fussy and love the idea of a sexy setup that requires less gear.

Anyway, the problem is that while we love all of the toys we have from Fuze, my best friend (and wife) worries that they'll be too dense for double dildo play and she is concerned that the "bulb" end will be too jarring during sex. I've never seen the Feeldoe or Realdoe in real life, but I'm wondering if they're any softer. The Fun Factory Share also looks good, but I think it is going to be a little too big but I can't seem to find the Fun Factory Share XS anywhere for some reason!

Is it possible to find a softer strapless strap-on double dildo or is this a goldilocks fantasy that just never gonna happen?

Dearest BOB -

We generally don't advise sex play with three bears and the risk of too-hot oatmeal, but if your goldilocks fantasies just consist of pegging play that's "just right", we can probably be helpful here.

But first, let me shatter a couple of your deepest desires right off the bat. First off, the Tantus Feeldoe and Realdoe are both made of a super firm silicone, so if you're concerned about bounce-back from your double dill, you can skip them.

Secondly, I regret to be the bearer of even more bad news, but the Fun Factory Share XS is discontinued (as is the Fun Factore Share XL, not that you asked) and there never was a Fun Factory Share Small nor a Fun Factory Large. In essence, the Fun Factory Share is the goldilocks of all the Fun Factory double dildos.

The third fantasy I'm going to ruin for you is the mythology of the strapless strap-on. Much like the mythical threesome unicorn, the strapless strap-on technically does exist, but you will only very rarely find it in nature.

For us mere mortals who have not spent our lifetimes dedicated to toning our pelvic floor muscles through a daily routine of kegel reps and g-spot orgasms, using a double dildo without a harness is fun and games when you're thrusting in, but pulling out is a whole different situation.

In the entire history of our little co-op, we've only ever had one member that has been able to successfully hang onto the bulbous end of the double during penetration play, and personally, I've heard of one person who could do it while ejaculating throughout. These are special people who are surely much less impressive in other aspects of their lives, but their complete mastery of strapless strap-ons is mighty and should be widely praised.

But for the rest of us, well, we're gonna need a strap for that strapless strap-on. Fortunately, all of our harnesses play well with all of our double dildos so there is no shortage of great options!

In terms of hardness and density, you'll noticed that all of our vibes and dildos have little hardness ratings in their product descriptions. Fortunately, the fine folks at Fuze work in both a firmer density silicone and a softer silicone known as Fuze 10 (the 10 refers to their durometer shore hardness rating). While the Fuze Tango is made of their regular density silicone, the Fuze Tango Real is made of their softer silicone to give it a more realistic feel to go with its more realistic look!

So, there you have it! Unicorns are real but rare, Fuze Silicone is "just right", and the strapless strap-on is neither!
